No other technology awards brings together over 100 of Europe’s top journalists to decide on the very best hardware being sold across the continent, in quite the same way as the EHA Awards. Now in its sixth year, the 2020 ceremony is a little different, because the global pandemic means that Computex unfortunately did not go ahead at the end of May. Instead, the awards were announced online, alongside the latest summary from the EHA Pan-European Hardware Purchase Intention Survey 2020/21.
The nominations process began at the start of the year, with a full analysis of the products that had been launched, tested and rated by experts working for members of the European Hardware Association. The initial list was reduced to a list of deserving finalists, which you can see here. After the final votes were counted and checked, the awards themselves were produced and the winners announced on Thursday 25th June 2020.
Founded six years ago, the member publications of the European Hardware Association have together produced close to 400,000 articles. The individual tests required to create those features number in the millions. It’s that wealth of experience that makes the EHA uniquely qualified to judge the vest best hardware on sale in Europe and to develop intuitive, large-scale research campaigns that yield genuine insight into the market.
As of June 2020, the members include KitGuru from the UK, PurePC from Poland, Geeknetic from Spain, CowCotLand from France, io-tech from the Nordics, Lab 501 from Romania, Hardware Upgrade from Italy, Hardware. Info from the Netherlands and HardwareLuxx from Germany.
The consideration, nomination and voting processes are over.
It’s time to announce the winners!
